Kong Christmas 2024, gold edition (champagne).
Original resin sculpture, signed Richard Orlinski in the mold.
The work is delivered in its case with its certificate of authenticity.
For this 2024 Edition, the artist has imagined a gold finish for his iconic Wild Kong. Dressed in gold, the sculpture with global success is animated by a thousand reflections that highlight it.
With his mouth open, his eyes wide, his nostrils quivering, Kong questions human beings. He stares at you, as if to challenge you. His forearms horizontal, his fists clenched, he reminds us of his strength, but no threat. in his attitude. Legs bent, ready to leap, he stretches his broad torso to magnify his musculature.
By turning around this golden Kong, we discover the fascinating work of the geometric facets which accompany the volume of each part of the body.
The angular facets are matched by the rounded masses, more or less flat, which bring the gorilla's body to life.

Richard Orlinski is a French artist who was born in Paris in 1966. In 2004, he started to make sculptures and has always been surrounded by a team of highly skilled technicians. His artworks, designed with the concept "Born Wild" reflect the main values in a contemporary style, which never yields to the trash, the extravagance or the ephemeral.
In 2024, French contemporary artist Richard Orlinski made waves in the art world with his dynamic sculptures. His works were prominently featured in an exhibition at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, where sculptures were displayed inside the hotel and along the renowned Rodeo Drive. This collaboration brought Orlinski's powerful sculptures to an iconic global audience. Additionally, Orlinski revealed his special sculpture, "Le Paon," as part of a celebration for the centennial of Maison Albar Hotels. This unique piece embarked on a tour across various cities, including Porto, Nîmes, and Paris, before being auctioned to benefit a charitable cause. These events cemented Richard Orlinski's role as a leading figure in contemporary art in 2024.
Richard Orlinski's works touch a wide audience, including children fascinated by his iconic creations. Orlinski has been a guest of honor at the Art Elysées Fair, Art Paris Fair, Artiferia in Bologna and Cannes, Deauville and Cabourg Festival.
In 2010 Richard Orlinski was the second best-selling contemporary French artist's in France by Art Price and two of his artworks are among the 10 highest auctions of 2011. In 2021, Orlinksi was named an Officer for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin.
Richard Orlinski sculpts to sublimate reality and creates living, beautiful and timeless artworks that arouse emotion in the public's eyes. Richard Orlinski mainly uses contemporary materials such as resin and aluminum, but also marble, stone and bronze.
Richard Orlinski, through the concept "Born Wild", focuses on transforming negative vital impulses to positive emotions, to pass from primordial instinct to civilized emotion. The vectors of this metamorphosis are the aesthetics of the work, the quest of perfection and the viewer's perception. Orlinski thinks that art is accessible to everybody; he creates works of art that act on our impulses, our archaisms.
