Quiona Ribes is a Spanish urban artist born in 1987. She discovered her passion for urban art in Valencia, where she explored various painting techniques inspired by street art and late 20th-century painters, developing her own distinctive style. Later, she moved to Barcelona to study architecture but soon redirected her career toward Applied Arts on Walls and earned a degree in Art History.
Her work, initially influenced by Impressionism, evolved into a unique vision that blends poetry, current events, art history, and graffiti. Quiona Ribes is particularly known for her creations using the urban stencil technique, drawing inspiration from artists such as Banksy, Martin Whatson, Keith Haring, Pichiavo, Okuda, Mr. Brainwash, and Vhils, as well as classical masters like Leonardo da Vinci, El Greco, and Velázquez. These influences are reflected in her works, where she reinterprets iconic classical art pieces through the lens of contemporary street art.
In recent years, Quiona Ribes has fully dedicated herself to urban art, establishing herself as one of the most promising female artists in the field. Her works, such as The Mona Lisa and The Milkmaid, illustrate her ability to merge the timeless elegance of classical art with the raw energy of urban graffiti, creating unique and engaging pieces that captivate contemporary art lovers and urban culture enthusiasts.
