Yannick De praeter

Born in 1972 in Lille, Yannick De Praeter is a versatile artist: sculptor, assembler, colorist. Always passionate about materials, especially iron and brass, he acquired a unique expertise thanks to his experiences in the manufacture of luxury pieces in an art foundry. These years of learning and practice have equipped him with a rare know-how, where precision and love of a job well done are at the heart of his approach.

In 2020, Yannick devotes himself fully to the creation of paintings and sculptures. With a keen eye, he carefully selects pieces of character, capable of telling a story. Each element he integrates into his works is the subject of in-depth research and meticulous transformation: sanding, staining and varnishing to enhance the textures.
